Andrew Fisher earned his BA from Brooklyn College and his MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a writer, filmmaker, and comedian with strong ties to the Deaf community. In 2019, he received a grant from Deaf Professional Arts Network (D-PAN) to write and direct six episodes of an original series exploring the ways in which disability, Deaf culture, and accessibility inform and shape contemporary life and society. He has addressed these frameworks at over 50 colleges, universities, colloquia, and conferences throughout the US.
